Okay, Pokey did this then tagged me for it as well. So if this is boring then it's not my fault. :P

I dug out & scanned some pics from my life. They're after after the jump, so the main page doesn't scroll forever.

First, me at about 2, at Christmas.
1971

Sixteen years later, still with the same look on my face. Hmm.
1987
This is at my first real job that didn't involve grocery carts. (I only lasted a day as a cart guy anyway.) I was an "everything" guy at a pharmacy. Only thing I didn't do was officially fill prescriptions.

Okay - back to me at age 4, I think. Fun things to note in this pic are the psychedelic wall paper (that my mother would still have today if she could) and the pink wall phone with matching Formica countertops.
1972

Couldn't find much in between 4 and high school, so here's my senior pic.
1987

For a lark, I used Photoshop to combine it with this: [popup], which was passed along to me with the title "80's Child Abuse". (Is the child a boy or a girl? The world may never know.) The result was this: [popup]. For a while, my mother-in-law thought I actually looked that way in high school. Heh.

College freshman - with my Bill the Cat "televangelist" t-shirt. Yes, it says "$AVED".
1987

College senior portrait. No scary hair, but a very scary tie.
1992

Me and my first new car. Scary sweater. Looks like something out of Halo. Weird.
1992

A decent picture of me from some time after college graduation.
1993

Halloween. No, really.
1994
Bonus points if you can figure out who I'm trying to look like. Clue: wouldn't you know it, some guy showed up to the party I went to, dressed as Connor MacLeod? We had some tense moments. (I'm not joking... that really happened.)

Solid proof I am a convert.
1995

Phoenix, 1996. I like this because it looks like an album cover.
1996

With my honey, 1997.
1997

Going for the "Masterpiece Theatre" look.
1999

This year. Taken by my lovely & talented wife.
2008

There you have it.

OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE all these pictures! From the scary sweater to the masterpiece theatre with the bookcases yet again in a different spot :-) You did a great job. I think I am going to have to keep digging and find some fun ones of myself.

Can't wait to see you guys tomorrow!!!!

These pics are great. I LOVED the photoshopped ones with the hair. Reminded me of Billy Ray Cyrus. My mother would have loved the wallpaper in your parents house - that look transports me back to my youth. I'm hoping you didn't really put those pins through your skin....

Heh - I was afraid of the pain of getting an ear pierced, let alone doing all that.

It was fake skin, don't worry.

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing.

You are one handsome dude! (That 80s picture, both the original [eek!] and your PS one still crack me up). The wallpaper scares me... especially in conjunction with the pink paraphernalia...

You just needed a bald cap (or to shave your head) to totally pull off that Highlander-evil-guy look. :-) (Was it really tense with Connor MacLeod in the room? Did you both have swords?)

Great post.

hee hee this was so funny and worth a second look :-)
