I think they used to call this "field day" back when I was in elementary school. (That was in the 1970's. Perhaps you've heard of them? *ahem*)Reilly's school had one of these yesterday, and of course I took the camera. My favorite pics are after the jump.
First up - Karate. The kids really dug this.
This boy couldn't kick that day since his leg was hurt, but he gave the board his all with a swift open-palm strike. Nice job.
Snack time
Capture the flag. Not how I remember it from Quake 3 - this was more like flag football, with no football. Or teams. Nor any particular rules. Heh...
