I love LCD monitors, since they're thin (1" to 2") and bright and clear. Look what's coming next though... not for a while yet; these are prototypes.
The one on the left is 9mm thick, the 2nd one is 3mm.

They use OLED technology, which is sometimes used in cell phones and other small devices. It's expensive in larger sizes, and they're not ready for commercial production yet. But neither were
30" LCD monitors, a few years back. (Remember the tiny tiny color LCD screens laptops used to have?)

I'm not enjoying the end result as much as I had hoped, but it was fun to do.

Over the last year, we've managed to pay off more than 11% of our debt, amass some savings, and boost our 401k matched contributions.
Plus, we haven't felt the financial squeeze that we've made in order to do that... we still feel like we're actually, you know,
living.
