I've no idea whose kids these are, but the pic is too cute.

Clicky for full size. You can almost put a thought bubble over the little girl's head: "
Boys!"

FlyakiteOSX
Put in whatever name you want, then explore... the site is the home of free software that makes Windows XP look like OSX. If the programming for the site is this good, I expect the installable version for XP will knock my socks off.
(Now, where did I put my XP CD again...?)

MapFinds.com, one of my favorite blogs, takes you on a virtual tour of the world via Google Earth. Today's visit is to
Beijing's Forbidden City. Take a look.

...starting in early '07
In a recent interview, Rick McCallum--who produced Star Wars I, II, Clone Wars, and III--announced that:
...the series will have a different tone than the features and will introduce characters that weren't seen on the big screen. "It is going to be much darker, much grittier. It's going to be character-based. [Lucas] envisions somewhere like 100 hours, [set] between Episode III and Episode IV, with a lot of characters that we haven't met, but [who] have been developed in some of the novels and other things. We're really excited about that, because I think finally we're going to have the opportunity to answer everybody's questions once and for all by the time we finish the series."
Hurrah... I think.

Hopefully this counts:

As I said in my previous post, family is covered pretty well and I haven't the energy (usually) to go into the true subject of this blog. So, technology it is. I'm going to keep blogcadia-software-related stuff on the development blog, which will have occasional updates. But I've set up another one (linked above) to cover techie kinds of things.
I was inspired somewhat by a few things I've read lately, and figured I'd latch onto the inspiration since I do enjoy writing.
Yep, one more thing for you guys to check. :) You may want to check out the web-based
Bloglines feed aggregator or a feed reader such as
Sage (for the wonderful
FireFox browser). There are also other stand-alone programs to use as well. Such things are indispensable for me since I have so many sites I like to keep up with.
